As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, the Eden Project will shine a spotlight on some of the world’s most extraordinary photography of the places and habitats around us. The internationally acclaimed Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, will go on display this summer, while entries for Eden’s own Wildflower Photographer of the Year competition, in partnership with CWG, open on Friday 29 May. 

Well-known charities and adventurer Bear Grylls are calling on people to take action for nature where they live, as part of this year’s Big Help Out from 5–8 June. 

The Eden Sessions will mark a major milestone this summer as the iconic live music series celebrates its 150th Eden Session, in a year that also sees the Eden Project celebrate its 25th anniversary as an education charity and global botanic garden.

First Minister John Swinney visited the site of Eden Project Scotland in Dundee earlier this week (21 April, 2026), marking a significant moment in the development of the transformational environmental and visitor destination destined to come to Dundee.

The charity Eden Project is set to burst into miniature mayhem this May half term (23 – 31 May, 2026) as Aardman’s hit animated children’s comedy series Lloyd of the Flies takes over the site with a fun-packed programme of trails, character moments and close‑up encounters with real mini-beasts. 

Eden Project Morecambe, a new world‑class destination and cultural landmark overlooking Morecambe Bay, has taken a major leap forward with the appointment of VINCI Building as main contractor for the next stage of design development and construction. 

Forty education and community leaders from the Morecambe Bay Curriculum (MBC) travelled to the Eden Project Cornwall this month for a significant collaboration event designed to shape the educational offer at the much‑anticipated Eden Project Morecambe, opening in 2028.

Budding Eden Project horticulture apprentices and students have cultivated a host of accolades and awards in the first quarter of 2026, adding to celebrations for the educational charity, which celebrated 25 years of leading the way in demonstrating positive nature connections on 17 March.

Today (24 March), HM The King and HM The Queen paid a visit to Cornwall’s iconic visitor attraction and educational charity the Eden Project to mark its 25th anniversary and launch The Big Lunch and The Big Help Out, the nation’s biggest celebration of community, taking place on 5-8 June.

As the Eden Project celebrates 25 years this week (17 March), one of the educational charity’s earliest and most memorable exhibits – the Plant Takeaway, affectionately known as “The Dead Cat” – is set to feature in an upcoming episode of BBC One’s hit TV show The Repair Shop on the Road. The episode will be broadcast on BBC One at 15:45 on Friday 20 March 2026.
