Leading up to Christmas, we are incentivised to shop at an alarming rate, but why does it matter what we buy and how can we make decisions that are better for the environment and for people?
Join us live in the Eden shop, as we use the products on our shelves to find out the answers to these questions.
We’ll then challenge your learners to go away and design their own product to sell at Eden – aligned to our buying policy of course!
Finally, learners will be invited to share their idea with the Live Learning Community in our online gallery.

Our livestreams are a window into the world, right from your classroom. Taking place from areas across Eden Project including the Rainforest Biome, Mediterranean Biome and outdoor gardens, you and your class will glimpse the habitats, plants and communities that call our planet home.
Topics will include climate change, sustainability, plants, food and growing, habitats, conservation and careers, all linked to the Science, History, Art, Design Technology and Geography curriculum.
Whatever the topic, we’ll set it in the context of the real world and always include calls to action which are achievable for young learners, developing their sense of agency and empowerment.
Our livestreams come directly from the Eden Project site and are presented by our experienced team of qualified teachers, supported by our wider team of in-house experts and partner organisations.
Livestreams usually last about 45 minutes and take place roughly once a fortnight. They typically start at 13:15 unless otherwise stated.

We publish a schedule of livestreams in advance of each term to allow teachers and home educators to incorporate the lessons into learning journeys.
