Twenty-five years ago, we dared to dream big – transforming a sterile clay pit in Cornwall with no soil into a jaw-dropping global garden. 2026 marks a quarter of a century since the Eden Project opened, becoming one of the world’s greatest examples of regeneration, positive impact and a living demonstration of what humans can do when we choose to heal rather than abandon.
Visit us this year to see how much we've grown, and celebrate the impact we've made as a charity as we look forward to the next 25 years.
Unearth wonder in our brand new exhibition, opening on the 17 March, which tells the miraculous story of how we managed to grow a tropical rainforest in a flooded Cornish crater that had no soil.
We’d love to hear about the Eden moments that have stayed with you. Perhaps you were here on our very first day, tied the knot beneath our Rainforest canopy, or danced under the stars at your very first gig. Maybe you visited on a school trip years ago – and now bring your own children to explore. However Eden has been part of your life, your story is part of ours. Share your photos with us and let’s celebrate those memories together.
To mark our 25th anniversary, we've commissioned a landmark Impact Report showcasing Eden's success, and demonstrating how bold, long-term investment in people, place and nature-based regeneration is essential to unlocking Britain’s full potential.
