Celebrating 25 years of the Eden Project
Twenty-five years ago, we dared to dream big – transforming a sterile clay pit in Cornwall with no soil into a jaw-dropping global garden. 2026 marks a quarter of a century since the Eden Project opened, becoming one of the world’s greatest examples of regeneration, positive impact and a living demonstration of what humans can do when we choose to heal rather than abandon.

From Pit to Paradise
Unearth wonder in our brand new exhibition, opening on the 17 March, which tells the miraculous story of how we managed to grow a tropical rainforest in a flooded Cornish crater that had no soil.
